The C.E.P.E.
     

In the heart of the Park, the Centre d'Etudes et de la Pedagogie à l'Environment (CEPE)will welcome you in a former hunting lodge with very fine architecture, the Pavilion St. - Charles.
This property which belongs to the town of Troyes is managed by the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park; we offer you activities for the discovery of the natural heritage which last a day or longer.
Specialised activity leaders guide the outings and can intervene on different subjects, using methods adapted to all types of audiences.

 

 

     

It is with great pleasure that we will help you discover the natural riches of our territory: fauna, wetlands, forest, ornithology, orchards, landscapes...
Whether you are researchers, teachers, people wanting a training course, member of an association, a works council or group of individuals, we offer accommodation for 32 people in dormitories and individual rooms.
During your stay, a dining room, a meetings room , a laboratory, a library, as well as teaching and scientific equipment are available for your use. The natural history of the surroundings will please both budding naturalists and experts.
     

The CEPE in brief...

- a permanent team of 6-5 are natural history activity leaders
- natural history activity programmes for school children and the general public (in 1999, 2450 pupils welcomed and there were activities involving more than 1,000 adults)
- a partnership with the Federation des Oeuvres Laic in the Aube
- accommodation with 32 beds (2 dormitories with 12 beds, 2 rooms with 3 beds, 1 room with 2 beds)
- a dining room with 35 places
- a work and meetings room
- a laboratory
- teaching and scientific equipment
- the approval of the Ministry of Education (class room for 30 pupils)
- the pleasure Jeunesse et Sport (32 beds)
